"Gemini" girl in "Thandavam"
THE MOHANLAL-starrer "Thandavam" is expected to consolidate the position of Kiran Tandon in the
Malayalam industry. Kiran Tandon, from Mumbai, is a familiar face among Tamil film lovers, ever since she played the heroine in the Vikram-starrer "Gemini". She is a relative of Hindi actress, Raveena Tandon, and used to visit the sets along with her.
It was Raveena's manager who first brought her the offer to act in AVM's 100th film. The lead role of Meenakshi in "Thandavam" is expected to give Kiran another big boost. The fact that she's starring opposite Mohanlal, that too in popular director Shaji Kailas's film, has made her ecstatic. As a big bonus, she's got a role in superstar Rajnikanth's much-awaited "Baba" too.
Coming South seems to have been the most sensible thing this Mumbai girl did!
