Magazine that stirs the soul
A literary cum cultural cum spiritual monthly magazine `Mouna Prabha', was- launched recently under the aegis of Sri Siddheswari Peetham in Courtallam in Tamil Nadu.
As the Mahayogi Mouna Swami, who founded the Peetham in the first quarter of the 20th Century, was from the Telugu Atchutini family from Prakasam district, the magazine edited by Kuchibhatla Chandrasekhara Sarma, published and printed by K.M. Krishna Mohan, Secunderabad, is being brought out in Telugu.
The first issue (April 2002) was released by the present Peethadhipathi, Sri Siva Chidananda Bharathi Swami at a special function in Hyderabad. The copies of this, along with its May issue, were distributed by the Peethadhipathi in-charge of Sri Lalitha Peetham in Visakhapatnam, Sri Ramananda Bharathi.
The rich fare of articles by saintly men of letters, exploring and expounding the means and methods of treading a righteous path towards realisation of the self, makes its reading absorbing.
With the critical and easily assimilable analyses of the principles ordained in scriptures of all faiths in general and the legacy of our own halcyon culture in particular, 'Mouna Prabha' reflects the picture of a symposium on Sanatana Dharma, an effulgent derivative of the hallowed Aarsha Vignanam.
