IN RECENT days, rumour has been rife that Kannada star Sakshi Sivanand claimed that her 'identical' twin sister stepped in for her in some scenes, during the shooting of the film, 'Sainika'. Post 'Sainika'-release, the story behind this claim has surfaced.
Apparently, Sakshi was asked to do an intimate kissing scene with actor-cum-MLA and producer of the film, C. P. Yogishwar. Unwilling to do it, the actress is supposed to have fibbed that her twin sister usually came to her rescue during such scenes. The director and the hero, however, are supposed to have gone to town with the news, without revealing the circumstances in which it was said. And Sakshi faced a lot of flak after this statement. Guess the actress is realising the advantages of being tongue-tied in certain contexts.
