Ente Katha

(Sunday, 10.30 am, Tuesday, 9.00 am, Thursday, 10.35 pm and Friday, 2.30 pm)

This programme features real life sobstuff before an audience of experts in different fields. Anybody is free to take part in the show, in which people wronged, those who have had very nasty experiences etc air their problems. Real life details of corruption, harassment etc come on reel. They feel good once they unburden themselves and the group as a whole try to sort out the problems. Those who want to participate can contact the Asianet at its Peyad office in Thiruvananthapuram.

Comedy Show

(Monday-Friday, 10 pm)

This show has turned out to be a super hit with Kottayam Nazir taking the masses with him. This different kind of programme gives word pictures of stars. Of late stars are gracing the occasion too. The letters received by Nazir are getting stranger and stranger in an attempt to win the prizes.

Munshi

(Everyday, 7.25 am, 6.20 pm and 10.40 pm)

Munshi has completed 700 episodes. This cartoon-equivalent of the visual medium is a thought provoking strip that deals with topical, political and cultural subjects. A brainchild of Anil Banerjee (No Bengali, this guy) it hasa found favour with the populace, and is a refreshing change.

Sarigamapadanisa

(Sunday, 8 pm, Thursday, 11 am)

Manianpillai Raju will be the guest in this programme, hosted by M G Sreekumar. Four singers will compete for prizes worth Rs 1 lakhs.

SURYA TV

Vellithira

(Sunday, 3.30 pm)

This is movie based show in which you are taken to locations of new movies. Directors, technicians and artistes give you an idea of what the film is about. You are also treated to clippings of the movie and the songs. Lakshmi Anilkumar is the anchor of this programme.

Puthiya Paattukal

(Sunday, 9.30 am, Wednesday, 5.00 pm)

As the title indicates, new songs from freshly released movies are telecast. Over the coming week, expect songs from Meesha Madhavan, Onnaman etc. Sathish has directed this show and the presenter is Karthika Sethunath

Ayur Rekha

(Saturday, 3.00 pm and Wednesday, 10.30 am)

This health programme is conducted by Dr. Thomas Mathew, in which prominent doctors participate and discuss a whole lot of health problems.

Venkulam Arunan directs it.

Thullikal

(Tuesday, 6.00 pm, Thursday, 5.00 pm)

It's a docu-feature, conceived and made by S. Srinivas. Aparna Menon hosts the show, in which both VIPs and common folks take part and discuss all sorts of topics under the sun.

KAIRALI TV

Pravasalokam

(Thursday, 11 pm, Friday, 12.30 pm)

Pravasalokam has completed its100th episode. It takes a look at the huge population of Malayalis who are expatriates, in the Gulf and other places. It does not tell glamour tales. It takes a deep, long look at their sufferings and problems. The number of missing people is increasing every month and the programme attempts to help out in such oursuits too.Anasuddeen Aziz has conceived the programme. Rafeeq Rowthar directs it. P. T. Kunjumahammed, ex MLA and long time expatriat hosts the show.

Cheriya Sreeniyum Valiya Lokavum

(Monday-Friday, 9.05 pm)

Venu Nagavalli has directed this Sreeni-based show.. Actor-director Sreenivasan shares his funny experiences with viewers, of the time when he seeks movie fame and the hard times he went through. But it is presented through his inimitable style wherein even sad incidents take a humorous turn.
