Drive to Disaster - Pollution on city roads

Abandon worn-out vehicles

IF we are looking at getting rid of pollution on the roads, there cannot be another impractical thought as this as we would have to forsake all vehicular transportation and go by walk all along! Anyway, we could try several means by which the hazards of air-borne diseases, vulnerable to suffocation could be reduced. Some of them are:

(1) Abandoning all worn-out vehicles that emit atrociously high amount of smoke.

(2) Petrol-run autos could be replaced with gas-run autos like in Delhi.

Encourage the use of light-engine vehicles and motorbikes.
