Queries On Cooking Answered

Chef Vernon Coelho (chief instructor of India's premier catering college- IHM -Dadar) answers.

Prakash has a query regarding seafood. Everyone knows that the destination of all kinds of sewage water, industrial and hospital wastes is the sea or the ocean. If this is the case, how can one prove that the seafood (fish, prawn) is good for our health?

A lot has been said about the dumping of toxic wastes into the sea and this has affected marine life & the quality of fish available in the market. Luckily, deep-sea fishing is still a technique that has safe-guarded some aquatic life. Modern fishing trawlers and factory ships travel to the deep seas to procure their catch.
