How can mutton be cooked soft?

SOFTNESS OR tenderness of mutton depends on the quality of mutton. Hence it is very important that you choose good quality mutton to get a soft mutton dish. If you buy meat of old lamb it will not be soft. Marination of mutton also helps to make it tender. Tenderising items like papaya paste, pineapple paste, lemon, curd and turmeric are used to make mutton soft.
