Nammal Thammil

(Saturday, 8 pm)

Is there a sand mafia in Kerala? In the October 26 edition of Nammal Thammil, Sreekandan Nair moderates between the environmentalists who are up against the sand mining groups and those who make money peddling sand. Whether there is a sand mafia will be discussed during the show.

Vaalkannadi

(Mon_Thursday, 3.30 - 4.30 pm)

This programme, targeted at women, has crossed 100 episodes. It's an all-women affair which includes games (if you are lucky, you may even win a TV or a fridge), cookery, beauty tips etc. Unni Sivapal , Jyothirmayi, Prashant, Neena Kurup host the show. Shaji Verghese and Diana Sylvester are the producers.

Hello Kids

(Monday- Thursday, 5.05 pm)

This show is aimed at kids and is value based, according to its makers. It's a cartoon series and Shakespeare is introduced in a simple way to the children. Master Chandu and Baby Krishna present the programme. Prakash C Menon has produced the show.

SURYA TV

(Sunday 7pm)

This is a popular programme that has its mainstay in rural areas. Strange contests and games are held in stark rural settings that create a festive ambience for the inhabitants. Ranjith Chengamanad hosts the show. Anil Thomas directs it.

(Saturday, 8 pm, Thursday 9.30 am, Friday 11.30)

Kalabhavanum Mimicsum pinne njanum is being telecast for some time. Actors Jayaram, Kalabhavan Mani Siddique-Lal etc take part in this show. K S Prasad hosts it.

Cheriya Sreeniyum Valiya Lokavum

(Monday-Friday, 9.05 pm)

Venu Nagavalli has directed this Sreeni-based show . Actor-director Sreenivasan shares his funny experiences with viewers.
