Salman fresh target for spoof

SABe TV deprived of their chance to air a programme caricaturing Laloo Prasad Yadav, the serial makers of "Raamkhilaavan CM `N' Family" have replaced it by another serial called "Yeh Public Hai, Sab Jaanti Hai" from November 18.

The first episode features a film actor called Banian Kumar who seems to be a take-off on Salman Khan. Ashwini Dheer, the writer and producer of the show, said, "The new show is a spoof on current issues. The first episode has a film actor called Banian Kumar in an inebriated state running his car over a man and killing him. Not only are we showing that the actor runs over a person, but also about how people take advantage of the situation. We are also showing how NGOs and politicians grab mileage, how news channels only telecast the accident story, how the value of the footpath rises and how it is auctioned later."

The show has the same team, which was involved in the making of "Raamkhilavan..."

Determined to focus on issues facing the country, "Yeh Public Hai, Sab Jaanti Hai" is telecast on Mondays and Tuesdays at 8. 30 p.m., and is all set to have other episodes about Veerappan and the Cauvery.
