Different strokes!

KARISMA KAPOOR began shooting for the Sahara TV show titled `Karishma - The Miracle of Destiny', at Versova, on November 12. The scene was that of a confrontation with her father, played by Uday Tikekar.

The serial has a celebrity cast including Sanjay Kapoor, Arbaaz Khan, Arshad Warsi, Jugal Hansraj, Sheeba and Dinyar Contractor. Anu Malik will set the music score.

Meanwhile, Shilpa Shetty turns candid on Etc's `Star Giraftaar' in a chat with anchor Suresh Menon. Shilpa talks about herself, her childhood, dreams and personality in the interview, which is to be telecast in two episodes.

The first show will be aired on November 22, at 8-30 p.m., with a repeat on Saturday at 1-30 p.m. The second episode is scheduled to be telecast on November 27, at 7-30 p.m. It will be repeated on Thursday at 1-30 p.m.

Madhuri Dixit, now sufficiently distanced from her TV innings on `Kahin Na Kahin Koi Hai', says about her experience hosting the programme: "I liked the concept a lot. It was a novel idea for the Indian audience to choose life partners on screen. I used to have these long talks with the participants; they would open up and reveal so many of their desires to me. Maybe the audience was not prepared for this. I think the show was ahead of its time."

Wonder if this is sufficient consolation for Sony?
