'Nilaamghar' sports a bigger canvas
NILAAMGHAR' IS being shifted to Chandigarh in a bid to cut down production costs and sport a much bigger canvas. Hosted by Shekhar Suman, the show is to be shot on a much bigger scale from this month and targets the biggest ever live audience comprising 1500-2000 persons, a first in the history of chat shows on Indian television, where a live audience on a prime time game show currently totals 500!
The new episodes will be shot outdoors at Dara Studios in Mohali on the outskirts of Chandigarh. In the light of the revamp, with actual interested participants instead of a bunch of junior artistes making up the audience, head honchos at Zee TV are hopeful that the show will gain in gloss and interest. Way to go, Zee!
