Educative exhibition

A two-day educational exhibition called as `Kala Vijnan Samakriti' was organised by D.A.V. Public School, Butchirajupalem recently.

The exhibits displayed covered history, geography, sports and other subjects and were created by the students. The working models of volcano, multipurpose river project, hydro electricity generation, charminar, pyramids, court of Sri Krishna Devaraya and a few other models were praiseworthy.

The students also displayed a wide range of coins from medieval period from 40 countries. A display of charts and models of Vedic culture and temple architecture received all round appreciation. No exhibition of D.A.V. is complete without the history of Swami Dayananda Saraswati and his movement that was well depicted by the young minds.

The exhibition was conducted with a view to use these models as educative tools in classroom.

The regional director of South Zone, Seetha Kiran inaugurated the exhibition in the presence of the school principal, C.V. Shankar.
