SOME SAY it should be called a Van Dyke rather than a goatee. Others disagree. In any case, in popular usage today, they are almost always just called goatees -- a style of facial hair achieved by growing only the beard on the front and sometimes below the chin. If you have enough hair already, simply don't shave for a few days, then shape the stubble into the goatee of your dreams. If you don't have enough hair yet, then to stimulate growth, shave as often as possible. Once you think you've got enough growth, go for it. A style for that chic, neat looking visage, goatee will be a popular style, is the common belief.
