JYOTHIKA IS on a roll, as she seems to have regained her lost crown as Number One with "Dhool" proving to be the biggest blockbuster in recent times. Said Jyothika: "I am on cloud nine, because at a time when people wrote me off, "Dhool" has helped me to stage a comeback".
Jyothika had almost equal footage with hero Vikram and her character of an educated village girl Easwari was crucial till the end. Added Jyothika: "The role had enough scope to emote. What more can a heroine get in an action film?"
Now that this bubbly heroine has got a new lease of life, she is careful about choosing her future projects. In "Kaka Kaka", she is paired with Surya in a very serious role, which she hopes will bring her more accolades. And in AVM's "Priyamana Thozhi", director Vikraman has given her a meaty role opposite Madhavan. Confessed Jyothika: "I am not in a hurry to sign many films, as I am waiting for good performance-oriented roles to come my way."
