KELAMBAKKAM: For better living

COMMUNITY LIVING projects are one of the many ways that can bring peace to society.

One such experimental community living project is `Samratchana'. 0"Here people forget the differences and live in harmony, treating everyone as their own kith and kin," says Mangala Suresh, a resident of the colony.

The community living centre, located in a sprawling 32 acre campus at Kelambakkam, is equipped with the latest facilities.

The organisation also runs the Sushil Hari International Residential School, which has about 300 students.

The centre also offers vocational courses in tailoring, textile designing, typing and shorthand classes.

"The residents do not accept salaries for their services.

The members devote themselves to the projects here and share their knowledge and skills," says Mangala Suresh.

Samratchana can be contacted at smrtchna@yahoo.com or 24963434.
