Burning the midnight oil

THE WHOLE of this week, Kareena Kapoor shot all-night at Madh Island for Dharamesh Darshan's "Bewafaa". "Who says stardom is a bed of roses? Anilji, Akshay and I've been shooting from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.," sighs Kareena, while tucking into her dinner before being called for the next shot. Akshay and she get along like a house of fire. Though an early sleeper, Akshay is full of beans even at this hour. "This is my third film with Kareena. Anil is a nice guy," he says. Ask Kareena if she snatched "Bewafaa" from Amisha Patel and she shoots back, "Do you think, I need to take away anyone's role? I can't begin to talk about all the roles that have been snatched from me." Adds Akshay, "I'm supposed to have convinced Dharamesh Darshan to take Kareena instead of Amisha. Can you imagine anyone telling Dharamesh whom to sign?
