Johnny jamboree

ALL OVER Andhra Pradesh and wherever Telugus live in the U.S. or in our own Chennai, there is a big hype about "Johnny".

This is Pawan Kalyan's most eagerly awaited film that has been sold to distributors in Andhra for over Rs. 20 crores. The film releasing this Friday has got a clean `U' certificate from the censors.

Pawan Kalyan was able to create a mystery around the film without even a single still being published in the media.

A week before the release, Pawan has come out with a 30 second teaser trailer on all channels. "Johnny" will be the first ever Telugu film to be released with over 250 prints including simultaneous release in the U.S. In Chennai, it will be the first Telugu film to be released in two cinemas, Jayaprada and Satyam Cineplex. The Tamil Nadu rights of the film have fetched a record price of Rs. 11 lakhs.
