AN HOURGLASS figure, a ravishing skin and a great personality is what the make-up and beauty studios, Grace by Aashmeen, who has worked and trained under the likes of Shahnaz Hussain, Javed Habib, Blossom Kochchar, Tony Guy etc, has to offer.
Located at Ashok Vihar, this beauty studio is meant exclusively for women. Its unique selling proposition is the Kerala-based therapy `Panchkarma' in which different oils like Dhanvantra, Chandanadi and Sheerbala, etc are used according to the age of the person, the body metabolism rate and the fat ratio. Here, Panchkarma has been incorporated pre-dominantly for slimming purposes. The five-stage herbal therapy comprises a massage with oils, body stimulation with German electronic equipment to revive the pulse points in one's body, steaming with herbs like ratnamool and neem, etc building up stamina with vibrations and finally an optional stage of creating a vacuum to break down solid fat. "It is a great way to boost one's self-confidence. "The person undergoing this therapy needs to follow a routine diet and walk everyday for 20 minutes," says Aashmeen.
Apart from the Panchkarma, the studio also offers special makeovers for brides like Cleopatra bath, flower vatra and crystal body polish. The right combination of make-up and hairstyle is conceptualised for the brides according to the occasion and the season. Metallic, molt finish, glossy touch, fantasy mood model looks and crystal are the kinds of make-up done at the beauty studio. Hair styling is done keeping in mind the personality of the person; the hair length, colours are decided accordingly.
