Govinda, the poet!
HOW MANY of us know about the creative side of actor Govinda? Better known for his comedy and talkative roles in jazzy attires, the ever-active-on-screen hero with great mass appeal, has a serious side — he writes poetry. With a heart in poems and shairis right from the age of 14, the actor had no time to highlight this skill because of busy schedules, but it had remained only a hobby.
With his career at a relaxed pace right now, Govinda has all the time to pursue his passion and talks of his wife, Sunitha being his inspiration, for whom the actor has penned free verses. With more than 300 poems in his kitty, the actor, however, has no plans to publish them as of now, as he wants some "experts to go through them." Any interest in penning lyrics for films? No, says the actor vehemently, who thinks his verses may not be interpreted the right way. Well, creative pursuits prove to be a boon during rainy days!
