A wish list

If this wish list comes true, the world will be a wonderful place.

EVERYDAY WE experience or see something that makes us sigh and think, "I wish there was more civic sense or, I wish people felt a little bit more responsible towards their job, relationships, society and so on.

let us make a list - a list of wishful thinking that will make people and communities live with utmost courtesy and consideration and let us go a bit further and wish that this permeates through the collective consciousness.

Friendly and courteous people, everywhere!

All ages young and old talk and treat others humanely and kindly; not because of who they are or what they do, but merely because the other is a human. We all,

- Do things willingly and

best of all, spontaneously

- Constantly look for

positive attributes in others

- Greet and respond to greetings

- Look happy and smiling as often as possible

- Value friends and friendships

- Accept and give compliments with sincerity

- Do not get angry quickly

- Say "I'm sorry" or "I was wrong"

- Refrain from or avoid carrying a grudge

- Address adults and peers with respect

Demonstrate

Responsibility by:

- Handling the property of others carefully

- Respecting everything in public domain

- Completing expected duties and assignments without being reminded

- Attending to obligations on time i.e., job, appointments, dates, and so on

- Remembering commitments and keep them on consistent basis with individuals and groups

- Being honest and trust worthy

- Taking pride in a clean environment and not add to the trash already strewn about the place

- Attending to tasks and finishing on time

Follow Rules And Regulations, where everyone:

- Complies with stated rules, policies, expectations, and guidelines.

- Understands and accepts that rules are not to be bent, broken or re-negotiated to suit individual needs and requirements.

- Seeks clarification if rules and/or expectations are not clear

- Listens while directions are being given

- Is committed to contracts and agreements

- Has ownership and responsibility towards one's

- Seeks justice and fairness for everyone

- Does not exhibit apathy towards social injustice

Is this a wish list of a dreamer? May be. But the results will be so awesome that you are stuck in that pleasant dream.
