Comedy time

From "Hungama".

PRIYADARSHAN THE Malayalam director who strayed into Hindi films is back with his new release "Hungama" starring Akshay Khanna, Aftab Shivdasani, Rimi Sen (the model who appeared in the Coke ad with Aamir Khan) and Paresh Rawal, the best comedian in Bollywood.

Priyadarshan's Hindi films are all remakes of his Malayalam comedies and this time, the source material for "Hungama" is one of his earlier comedies that released in Malayalam about 20 years back. The film is all about mistaken identities. The USP of the film is Paresh Rawal with his split-second comic timing, which is sure to bring the house down. For Priyan who is a great fan of Jerry Lewis and Norman Wisdom, comedy has always been his bread and butter. Remember that his "Hera Pheri" in the same genre was a moderate hit some years back.
