Of photographs by B. R. S. Sreenag from July 14-16

An exhibition of photographs on subjects ranging from abstract, still life, and cultural symbology to landscapes will be held from July 14 to 16 (11 a.m. to 7 p.m.) at Lakshana Museum of Aarts, 8, Judge Jambulingam Street, Mylapore.

B. R. S. Sreenag, who did his Visual Communications from Loyola College, has shot the 49 photographs that will be on display.

The artist has always tried to use the art to create visuals that depict and influence emotions of the viewer and the ambience of the setting. Many of the pictures use multiple exposures to create paradoxical images. He has made use of unusual mediums such as metal sheets.

Sreenag has also worked as a cinematographer on two documentaries, "Yoga — Mind Body Medicine" and "Yantra — Power of Crystals".
