Handlooms and handicrafts

Mrignayanee, the Madhya Pradesh Handicrafts and Handloom Development Corporation is organising an exhibition of ethnic fabrics and handicrafts at Sri Sankara Hall, 267, TTK Road, Alwarpet.

On display will be batik and block printed dress materials and Maheswari, Chanderi, Kosa and Waraseoni saris. The Bagh printed saris and dress materials are the speciality of the State. There will also be bed sheets, wall panels, dhurries, jewellery, tribal paintings and creations in lacquer, jute, bell metal, leather and wood. A discount of up to 20 per cent is being offered.

The exhibition is on from today till August 8.
