Bright strokes

An exhibition of paintings by Manisha Raju and Subhash S. Babhulkar, titled "Footsteps of time", will be presented by DakshinaChitra (Muttukadu, East Coast Road) at its art gallery, from August 4 to 11 (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.).

Manisha resides in Cholamandal Artist Village and her works based on mythology, mostly devoted to female power and her introspection.

Subhash is a Nagpur-based artist and an alumni of J.J School of Arts, Mumbai. He takes a subjective view of the world around him and derives inspiration from day-to-day life. His works are mostly based on women's lives.
