B.D. Dethan retrospective

A retrospective of artist B.D. Dethan opens at the Contemporary Art Gallery, today


`Parinaamam', an exhibition of paintings by veteran artist B.D. Dethan opens today at the Contemporary Art Gallery, Durbar Hall.

Dethan has had many solo and group shows abroad and in the country. He has participated in artist camps across India. A product of the Government School of Arts, Thiruvananthpuram, his repertoire includes nudes and abstracts.

He has received several awards from State Lalitha Kala Akademi and his works are displayed in many public places and in private collections. The retrospective will be on till August 10. The timing for the show is from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
