Exhibition of drawings

Alliance Française de Trivandrum in association with the French Embassy in India is organising an exhibition of drawings titled `India: from North to South' by Christian Cailleaux from August 17 to 31 at Alliance Française de Trivandrum.

An illustrator and comic strip artist, Christian Cailleaux has travelled extensively in Africa, the countries of the Indian Ocean and Canada. He came to India in December 2004 for a two-month residence, as part of the scholarship programme `Artistes-in-residence' offered by the French Embassy in India, to hone his creativity.
