Ganeshas galore

A chance to view and buy a variety of Vinayaka idols

Who doesn't love the elephant god? Here is your chance to visit an exhibition-cum-sale of Vinayaka idols.

Organised by Poompuhar in time for the Ganesh Chaturthi, the "Ganesh Darshan" exhibition will be on till August 26 between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Ganeshas in various postures, sizes and materials will be available at the showroom at the Big Bazaar Street.

Apart from celebrating the approaching festival, this exhibition will also help impoverished crafts people who are struggling to keep traditional handicrafts alive.

More idols

Shree Dhanwanthari Kalashetra and Mani Craft will organise Ganesh Darshan, an exhibition of Ganesha idols at The Arya Vidya Chikitsalayam & Research Institute in Ramanathapuram till August 25.
