Women at the work placeToday is the last day to send in your comments and suggestions to the Ministry of Women and Child Development on the Protection of Women Against Sexual Harassment at Workplace Bill 2007. In 1997, the Supreme Court in its landmark judgment Visakha vs. State of Rajasthan set guidelines for institutions to follow on sexual harassment at the workplace. A survey done by the National Commission for Women (NCW) revealed that 60 per cent of women don't know about these guidelines and similarly m any employers are unaware of them.
