Concerts in the city

The May edition of Levi’s Sunday Jam takes place this Sunday, with Zerosmith being the featured band. Also performing at the concert are close to 15 bands from Chennai, Surathkal and Pondicherry, besides local acts.

Sunday Jam kicks off at 5 p.m. on June 3 at Gurunanak Bhavan, and entry to the event is free and open to all.

A Western Classical voice and piano recital by R. Excelicia Cunville and Kelly Cheon is being organised at 7.30 p.m. on June 2 at The Grand Ashok, Kumara Krupa High Grounds. The concert will also feature a performance by guest artiste Gabriel Morin.

Tickets for the performance are priced at Rs. 300 and are available at Lusitania Cold Storage (Coles Road, Fraser Town), Safina Hotel (Safina Plaza) and Villa 61/1 and Villa 343 of Palm Meadows (Whitefield).
