It comes in a white gold case weighing around 105 grams. A silvered guilloche dial displays function hours and minutes. It has transparent sapphire glass case back, power reserve up to 80 hours and sports a strap in Lousiana crocodile with Porte-Feuille clasp in white gold. And the price a whopping Rs.75,00,000!

Auguste Reymond has its line of swinging self-winding watch Jazz Age. Touted as the smallest and lightest possible watch to hold the legendary chronograph movements Valjoux 7750 and 7751, it comes in a polished 316L steel case. It has a guilloche silver Roman dial. The price of the yellow gold 18k version is Rs.3,75,000.

Tissot has a limited edition MotoGP for sports enthusiasts. Limited to only 7002 pieces and priced at Rs.36,800, the watch has a white and red dial and structured red rubber bracelet joined with an engraved deployant buckle bearing the MotoGP logo. With its three Arabic indexes and the black and red counters on the dial, it a watch to get you noticed in a crowd.

Longines, the renowned Swiss watchmaker, has a range of sleek sports watches in four variants – Faster, inspired by the world of automobiles and motor sports, Further, for elegance of performance on tracks, Higher, influenced by aviation, and Deeper, unveiling the ocean’s secrets. The watches, a heady combination of technology and style, are priced in the range of Rs.28,500 to 1,05,000. TAG Heuer, the world leader in luxury sports watches and chronographs, has Aquaracer 43mm, a sports chronograph, powered by Calibre 16 day-date movement. It has a scratch resistant sapphire crystal with internal anti-reflective coating and is priced at Rs.1,09,000. Pierre Kunz, another luxury brand, has an absolutely original design. To perfect the balance and symmetry of the dial, it presents a metal and black Tahiti mother-of-pearl astral décor with multiple reflections of scintillating stars! The watch comes in Fluted Empire-style case in 18 carat white or 5N red gold, steel and platinum and has a hand-stitched alligator skin.

Rado, a pioneer in the field of luxury ceramic watches, has on offer the Rado Ceramica Chronograph range. The highly sophisticated watch comes in four versions at prices starting from Rs.67,000 onwards. Meanwhile, a year after the successful launch of the 1911 BTR, Ebel is enriching this line with a fourth automatic proprietary movement: Caliber 139. It comes in stainless or 18K – 750 N pink gold (limited edition 100 pieces) and this one too has a hand-stitched alligator strap. Price upwards of Rs.1,59,000.

Tommy Hilfiger’s Fall/Winter collection of watches has many models at prices starting from Rs.6,995 onwards. Swiss Junction, a men’s accessories premium brand has introduced stylish Swiss watches by the brand name Swiss Military Hanowa in the Indian market. The watches come in a variety of designs and colours. Prices range from Rs.6,600 to 27,000. For those looking for a ‘grunge look’ in men’s fashion, Swatch Irony Chrono Retrograde is the answer. Equipped with a variety of novel features, the collection comes in four models at prices ranging from Rs.8,000 onwards.

Our own Titan has been introducing watches periodically like Nebula, Laurent and NEON Disc, the last one has no hands to show the time. Instead two concentric aluminium discs, representing the hour and the minute show the time with the help of markers cut out on the discs.
