Full of emotional content The veena's majesty came through in B. Kannan's recital. Well planned and presented Sisters Haripriya and Shanmugapriya relied on preparation and packaging for success. Chitraveena casts a spell Ravikiran's chitraveena and Umayalpuram Sivaraman's mridangam provided an aural treat for the discerning audience. Precision goes hand in hand with feeling Jayanthi performed without a trace of gimmickry.
Excels in nritta While Lavanya was sound in technical aspects, Deepika Reddy showed a penchant for abhinaya. Dedicated to the Five Elements The theme of `Satyam Sivam Sundaram' revolves round the lotus. Makes a point with abhinaya Aparna was sprightly, Bhargavi's strength was her footwork and Rajeswari Sainath explored multiple themes. |
