Heavenly Kashmir

After the exams it was time to beat the heat. I suggested that we go to Kashmir. The journey was a little tiring, but after reaching Kashmir, I was refreshed. We had a big day ahead of us. We went to the temple of Badrinath. There were beautiful flowers and crystal clear water, glittering in the rays of the sun. I tried to capture the enthralling beauty of the temple in my mind.

We also skated on the icy lake. I think Kashmiris are really cool. Of course, who would not want to have snowball fights! The Kashmiris are kind and gentle.

Finally the day had come for my departure and I had no choice but to say goodbye to this peaceful land. But I said to myself, with tears in my eyes, that I would be back to "my heavenly Kashmir".
