Not a war

An eye for an eye is an adage. But does it really apply in the case of terrorism?

Despite the bombardment of Afghanistan, Osama bin Laden has not been caught. The Taliban regime may have fallen but terrorism has not been finished.

The American bombing of Afghanistan was retaliation for the attack on the World Trade Centre and not a war to end terrorism.

Violence only begets violence and does not help in putting an end to it.
