One day he remembered

Ramesh was always searching for his things. He never remembered where he had left them.

There was a discourse in the nearby temple, and he attended it regularly. Everyday he would leave either his shawl, or sandals or his umbrella in the temple and his wife would get it back.

One day, when he came home, he told his wife proudly that he had not forgotten anything. He had brought back his shawl, umbrella and sandals. His wife remarked that he had forgotten to wear his sandals when he went out. He had come home with someone else's sandals.
