Strange dreams

I had it again,
Thrice this week,
It drives me insane; I had the dream once again.
A dream of dark green things,
Standing proud and erect on the ground, with birds among them,
Presenting a scene of gaiety, far and around.
Are they aliens from Planet Yudo?
Maybe some new kind of car,
Or machinery used in war.
What are they, I don't know? Nothing from my world, that's for sure.
A world of wars, cars and more,
A world never seen or heard of before
Maybe they existed before the explosion, says my intuition.
Maybe they things, whose growth has ceased,
Things, once known as trees.
