Come again

On a good Sunday
When I had decided to play
A cool breeze crossed by.
I ran to the hall
With my cricket ball
Sat near the window
And looked at the meadow.
The clouds opened wide
Hoppers began to hide
The frogs croaked
And the peacock danced
The thunder broke with a flash
My eardrums began to clash.
Then came the rain
Made the world plain
I prayed for it again.
