Liberhan panel term extended

NEW DELHI July 1 .The Centre today issued a notification extending till December 31, the term of the Justice Liberhan Commission of Inquiry probing the events leading to the demolition of the `disputed structure' in Ayodhya on December 6, 1992. The term of the Commission, constituted in December 1992 expired on June 30.

Accordingly the Union Home Ministry issued a notification extending its term by another six months.
