Stop hate campaign

Sir, — The Congress call for the detention of VHP leaders (Sept. 5) appears to be valid. The VHP international working president, Ashok Singhal, should be detained for his remarks that the Gujarat carnage was a `successful experiment'. Only if the hate campaign is stopped can such incidents be prevented.
