Letters to the Editor
Sir, It is a tragedy that Bollywood always lends itself to controversies. Now, actress Manisha Koirala is mired in a controversy. She claims to be innocent about the script of Shashilal Nair's film. Actors always decide to work in a film only after knowing the screenplay. Then why should we believe her version of the story? She blundered by approaching a politician like Bal Thackeray instead of some authority such as the CBFC because she thought Mr. Thackeray had the power to stop the screening of the film by hook or by crook.
