Bank strike called off

New Delhi Sept. 30. The one-day strike called by a bank union tomorrow has been called off following Government assurance to look into the issues raised by the unions.

``The Government has agreed to constitute a committee to look into the issue of the proposed closure of a branch of Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi in Kolkata,'' a union spokesman told PTI.
