Fresh warrant against Salem

New Delhi Oct. 1. A Delhi court has issued fresh non-bailable warrants against the Dubai-based underworld don, Abu Salem, on a request from the Delhi Police that the order was required for his extradition to India from Portugal.

Salem was arrested in Lisbon on September 18 and needs to be brought to India for trial as several cases, including the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts, are pending against him. — UNI
