MPSC chairman remanded

Mumbai Oct. 7. The Chairman of the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC), P. D. Vani, who was arrested last night in connection with the multi-crore answer paper scam, was today remanded to police custody till October 16.

Mr. Vani was produced by the Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) before a special court judge, Mridula Bhatkar, who remanded him to police custody till October 16, the ACB's Joint Commissioner of Police, A. P. Dhere, told PTI.
