Salman's bail plea rejected

MUMBAI OCT. 16. A Sessions Court today rejected the bail plea of film star Salman Khan observing that police had made out a prima facie case against him in a hit-and-run accident for culpable homicide not amounting to murder.

The Sessions Judge, P. V. Bavkar, refused to enlarge the actor as the prosecution opposed his liberty on the ground that investigations were incomplete and he might influence witnesses in this case.
