Veerappan threat

BANGALORE NOV. 21. The forest brigand, Veerappan, who is holding the former Karnataka Minister, H. Nagappa, captive for the last three months, today sent another cassette to the State Government, setting a 12-day deadline for the release of Kolathur Mani in exchange for Mr. Nagappa.The fifth cassette received from the brigand categorically stated that Mani, lodged in the Bellary Jail, be released forthwith or the Government could collect the body of Mr. Nagappa after the deadline.
