Magsaysay awardee on fast

LUCKNOW DEC. 13. Magsaysay award winner Sandip Pandey today began an indefinite fast at an health centre in Uttar Pradesh to protest against the absence of doctors and the sale of government medicines to local chemists. Mr Pandeywas awarded this year's Ramon Magsaysay award for 'upliftment of the poor and the underprivileged in India.'
