Letters to the Editor
Sir, This is with reference to the article, "Reject the poisoned chalice" (Dec. 12). The BJP was never given a mandate to rule the country. It cobbled together a majority only with the support of power-hungry regional parties. Neither the regional parties nor the allies like the Samata Party, whose leaders were once socialists, wanted the BJP to fall at any cost, and they were keen on clinging to power for the loaves and fishes of office. Then, why blame Narendra Modi alone? Shantikumar. J, Hyderabad
