Govt to back BCCI, players

Indore Dec. 26. The Government will support the Cricket Board and the players on the vexed contracts issue, the Union Minister of State for Sports, Vikram Verma, said today.

"As long as the stand taken by the BCCI and the players on the issue is in the interest of the game and the country, the Government is with them and will extend all possible help to them in the matter,'' Mr. Verma said.
