Sir, B. Muralidhar Reddy's report, `Convince India of pipeline viability, Pak tells Iran' (Dec. 23) is very interesting. Everything finally boils down to money and the country's economy. This seems like a practical opportunity for India and Pakistan to understand the reality and build lasting, friendly relations. However, India must agree to the pipeline project based only on a no-war pact with Pakistan and the cessation of all cross-border terrorism by that country. Iran should countersign the pact as the third participating country in the project. K. Girishankar, Chennai
