``The talks scheduled have been deferred due to other engagements of the NSCN (IM) leaders,'' sources said today. Over the last fortnight, the two leaders had held a preparatory round of deliberations with the Central leadership. The NSCN (IM) chairman, Isak Chisi Swu and general secretary, Thuingaleng Muivah, who were earlier scheduled to leave India on January 20 after a 12-day stay, are now expected to be here till January 24, the sources said.
