Altaf remanded

Mumbai Jan. 27. Mohammed Altaf, a suspected SIMI activist, who was deported from Dubai early today in connection with the Ghatkopar bomb blast case was remanded to police custody till February 7 by a Special Court.

He allegedly supplied explosives and funds to co-accused who triggered the blast on a BEST bus on December 2 last year leaving two persons dead and more than 30 wounded.
